As a kid, Max was always invested in animals. From as young as 8 years old, he was asking questions like “how are dogs made?” and completely flummoxing their second grade teacher. When he first met his now pet Bearded Dragon/Child, Nimona, he began to fall in love with the herpetology field. While he now has access to the internet and thus can answer his own possibly inappropriate questions, he wanted to bring this knowledge to the world in a reliable, understandable format. Thus, they founded the Herptionary in early 2026.
